Interview With Franchise Coordinator Steph Gore

WO: Tell us a bit about yourself?

SG: I live in Padiham, Lancashire with my husband Leighton and 17-year-old daughter Freya. I've worked in accounts and credit control departments for over 20 years.

WO: What is your role and duties at World Options?

SG: I’ve been with World Options for 8 years. My original position was Accounts Assistant and as the business grew and the department developed I took on the role as Credit Control Manager.

Since February, I’ve been working as Franchise Coordinator, which expands on my previous duties of processing the franchise ledgers.

WO: What has been your experience so far of working at World Options?

SG: I think World Options is a great place to work. I've made some good friends and in tough times had brilliant support from colleagues and managers.

WO: Do you have any advice or tips you would like to share with franchisees?

SG: Make friends with your credit controller and don’t be afraid to keep asking questions.

WO: What is your Favorite Holiday?

SG: I love Majorca in Spain, so any holiday over there is great. I’ve really appreciated my holidays over the last few years — especially the first one following the 2020 lockdown!

WO: Hobbies?

SG: Not very original and probably not real hobbies, but I enjoy going out for meals and having a glass of Wine or two, and going out on walks with my two Boston Terriers.
