Interview With Franchisee Andy Tipping

WO: Tell us about yourself?

AT: I'm 39 Years old, and I have three kids. I'm based out of Atherton, Greater Manchester, and have been a World Options franchise owner for seven years.

WO: How did you learn about the franchise opportunities that World Options offers?

AT: I was working in the logistics industry, and I had become disillusioned with the management. I learnt that a colleague had bought a World Options franchise. My father and I made contact with World Options, we liked what he saw, and we bought a franchise. 

WO: What was it that attracted you to want to buy a World Options franchise?

AT: The chance to work alongside my dad, although that didn't happen as he just retired and let me do everything whilst he played golf…nice one dad, cheers for that!

WO: What did you find the process of purchasing a World Options franchise to be like?

AT: The process was pretty straightforward. The first few months were hard when building up the franchise but became a lot easier after that.

WO: What can we expect to see from your franchise in the coming months?

AT: Expect to see a lot more growth. Finally hit £10k margin for the last two months, and I hope to continue to grow.

WO: Do you have any advice for someone looking to buy a World Options Franchise?

AT: Be prepared to graft as hard as you can for the first two years and set the groundwork.

WO: What is your favourite holiday?

AT: Zante in Greece or Cala'n Forcat on Menorca, Spain.

WO: Hobbies?

AT: I enjoy djing and music production. I am still waiting to make my first UK top 10 hit and headlining Glastonbury with David Guetta.

WO: Who is the most influential person in your life, and why?

AT: My Dad, Had it not been for him, I wouldn't have got into the transport industry, never mind buying a World Options franchise.
