We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and other applicable Australian privacy, marketing and communications laws.

"Personal information" means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or recorded in a material form.

  • publicly available sources; and
  • cookies, analytics services and similar technologies when you use our websites, portal or online services.

Where it is lawful and practicable, you may deal with us anonymously or by using a pseudonym. In many cases, however, we need accurate identifying and contact information to provide shipping services, respond to an enquiry, administer an account or meet legal requirements.

If you provide us with personal information about another person, you must be authorised to do so and, where appropriate, make them aware of this Privacy Policy. For example, a sender must be authorised to provide a recipient’s delivery and contact details.

You do not have to provide personal information to us. However, if you do not provide information we reasonably require, we may be unable to create an account, provide a quote or service, complete a delivery, respond to an enquiry, register you for an event or progress a business opportunity.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage and similar technologies to operate and secure our online services, remember preferences, understand how our services are used, measure performance and support advertising or marketing.

Some cookies are necessary for our services to function. Other cookies may be controlled through our cookie settings, where available, or through your browser or device settings. Blocking some cookies may affect the availability or performance of parts of our website or portal.

For more information about the technologies we use and the choices available to you, please see our Cookie Policy.

8. Overseas disclosure

We operate in an international shipping and corporate environment. We are likely to disclose personal information to recipients outside Australia, including:

In some circumstances, we may remain accountable under Australian privacy law for the recipient’s handling of the information.

9. How we protect personal information

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps may include access controls, authentication, staff training, contractual confidentiality obligations, monitoring, backups and security safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login details and passwords confidential and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will take steps required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, which may include notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

10. Retention and deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with legal, accounting, tax, insurance and regulatory obligations.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why we hold it. When personal information is no longer required and we are not legally required to retain it, we will take reasonable steps to destroy it or de-identify it.

11. Accessing and correcting your personal information

You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Contact us using the details in section 15 and describe the information concerned and your request.
